The R&R Education Process
SC Prep & SC Leadership are both authorized by Limestone University and are approved Public Charter Schools in the state of South Carolina.
1. Do you provide a rigorous and challenging curriculum?
SC Prep prides itself in producing curriculum that challenges students while fostering a love of learning among our students. Because we are the first classical, virtual school in the United States, we have teachers create their own curriculum based on SC state standards. It is our goal to stretch the minds of our students through character development, critical thinking, and group project learning. In short, SC Prep personalizes the educational experience for all students!
2. Is SC Prep a private school?
SC Prep is a public charter school and follows SC Department of Education directives.
3. What is the learning platform?
SC Prep utilizes Canvas as our Learning Management System
4. Will students receive materials in the mail?
All SC Prep students have access to their educational tools online. While students are welcome to purchase the hardback versions of books assigned, instructors provide the necessary learning tools in one virtual place for the student’s convenience.
5. Is SC Prep NCAA approved?
Yes- SC Prep meets all NCAA course requirements.
6. How will students learn from this platform?
Students have the ability to develop their own learning experience. If a student needs a tutor, they simply book a time with their teacher. If the student wants to participate in a group activity, they may sign up for clubs or small group instruction. SC Prep provides wonderful opportunities for students to tailor their learning experience.
